For many years, few products have attempted to combine BTC with memes. This is because everyone believes BTC should be stored or used for financial growth, rather than being “played” with. However, Ordinals have broken this perception, and the popularity of BRC20 has led more people to genuinely engage with Bitcoin as a playful medium.

Yet, BRC20 has many issues, and its future development will face limitations. What truly has a future are solutions based on the Lightning Network + RGB. The Lightning Network addresses BTC's performance issues, while RGB solves functionality problems. Only when these two achieve real breakthroughs can BTC usher in a true ecological prosperity and realize Peer-to-Peer electronic cash.

BitBoom was born to achieve this. It uses sats as the currency for transactions and issues meme assets based on the Taproot Assets protocol. Taproot Assets is a protocol for issuing assets on the Bitcoin mainnet (similar to Ordinals, runes, and other protocols) and is based on a UTXO framework, allowing circulation within the Lightning Network, which already has dedicated Taproot Assets channels. In the future, it will also support RGB asset issuance.
